Managing Director


Starting off as an apprentice carpenter Luke has developed his career into senior onsite roles including site manager, design manager, project manager and construction manager with some of QLD’s biggest builders.

Prior to founding Latitude constructions, Luke has a well established reputation for both his onsite experience and technical capabilities in design and town planning.

He brings the benefit of previous experience delivering projects from multi-residential to large commercial projects along with the ability to negotiate sound commercial outcomes for all parties.

Luke’s strong relationships with consultants and trades alike assists in Latitudes ability to cost effectively deliver both small and large scale projects for our clients.

Luke holds a Bachelor of Building and construction management along with advanced diplomas in building design and building and construction and is currently studying bachelor of law at CQU.

Adam van der Helm

CFO and Business Development


Adam began working in the family construction business when he was 16, working in various aspects of trade until he finished his business studies and began working in finance. He has now been involved in finance for 20 years and enjoys all aspects of helping this company achieve it’s financial goals.

His management experience is also put to use managing the administrative and business development aspects of this wonderful company.

James Overitt

Drafting and Design Team Leader


Beginning as an IT Software Engineer James became interested in construction and design and joined a construction company in the 90’s to develop his passion for building design. It is through his long career in building design that James now has a wealth of knowledge and practical experience in Shop Drawings, Commercial Electrical and Hydraulic Drafting, Structural Engineering & Building Design.

James became a member of our team in 2015 and now holds formal qualifications in Building Design, Project Management and Information Technology. With his high level of enthusiasm, diverse range of skills and a friendly manner, James oversees our design and drafting team.

Diane Letts

Accounts and Contracts Administrator


Di started out doing bookwork and administration tasks for a construction company in 2000 when the GST was introduced. With an extensive history in bookkeeping and accounting Di has furthered her experience in a wide range of bookkeeping and payroll functions for a variety of companies using Xero, Reckon, Myob and Autoquote.

Di has been with Latitude Construction Consultancy since 2016 and her various roles include accounting and reporting and heading up the contracts administration team.

Di has a natural ability for numbers and organisation and this has seen her gain a Cert IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping, become a Xero Advisor, as well as achieving various Payroll and H&R certifications.

Di is a member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers, a leader in her field and a valuable member of the Latitude Construction team.
